Channel 4 screened a beautifully directed documentary by the photographer Leo Maguire called 'Gypsy Blood' the other night. It follows a tight-knit gypsy community with a strong family tradition of bare-knuckle boxing over a couple of years and was filmed down the road from where I was born and raised.
Incredible stuff, best shit I've seen on tv in years. Really beautiful, brutal, bloody. Highly recommended.
